Plant Operator I (20190037) - (Newcastle, OK)

Position description: Responsible to control and maintain aux equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, condensers, feedwater heaters, filters, and chlorinators, that supply water, fuel, lubricants, air, and aux power for turbines, generators, boilers, and other power-generating plant facilities. Primary Duties: Completes OGE Plant Operator Training Program attaining proficiency in all plant systems. Monitors, operates and checks equipment. Identifies abnormal equipment operations. Takes corrective action and/or initiates requests for equipment repair. Monitors, analyzes and performs boiler and cooling water chemistry tests. Keeps logs, records data and verbally communicates plant conditions. Utilizes SAP/PM system for equipment history and verification of work performed. Acquire Lock out tag out (LOTO) qualification in all plant systems. Performs LOTO on qualified systems. Follows all safety and environmental rules and regulations.
