80 The Home Health Aide performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs with the highest level of quality to promote comfort and observes the patient then documents and reports observations and care performed in accordance with workplace standards and federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Essential Activities and Tasks Care Management and Service Delivery Provides psychosocial support and personal care to the patient, including bathing (e.g. tub, shower, sponge, or bed bath), oral hygiene, hair care, shampooing, shaving, skin care, nail care, foot care, and dressing. Assists patient with mobility, including walking, transferring, turning, and positioning including the use of transfer devices such as the Hoyer lift and transfer board. Assists patient with prescribed exercises to which the patient and the aide have been trained.
