Maintenance Supervisor, Airlift (Military Veterans Wanted!) - (Las Vegas, NV)

Purpose and Scope: The Maintenance Supervisor, Airlift, functioning in an airlift terminal and flight line environment, oversees and coordinates the work effort of assigned subordinate maintenance personnel in support of the unit's daily flying operations. Critical responsibilities: 1) Plans, schedules, and coordinates subordinate time and daily flight-line work operations. 2) Evaluates and documents employee performance. 3) Makes recommendations to higher level supervision or management concerning hires, promotions, raises, and terminations. 4) May interview prospective employees. 5) Responsible for employee productivity on a day to day basis. 6) Plans and carries out the training and development of employees within the group. 7) Counsels and advises employees. 8) Writes reports and completes other routine correspondence. 9) Must communicate effectively with customers as a representative of the company. 10) Participates in advisory groups concerning training and management.
