Referee I: Youth Sports - St. Augustine YMCA - (St Augustine, FL)

Position overview: Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of all youth sports programs. Required functions: Represents the YMCA and maintains appropriate relationships with members, parents and youth. Assists with the organization, leadership, direction and emergency response team during sports events. Assists in the monitoring of inventory of the department's equipment and to ensure effective, safe use. Maintains field, including scheduled lining of fields. Officiates youth soccer, basketball, flag football, baseball or any particular sport a branch may provide. Represents the YMCA and maintains appropriate dress code. Begins each game with a prayer and/or devotion. Gathers all game day equipment, supplies, and materials for weekend's game. Monitors gym or fields during practices and reports any negative behavior to proper channels.
