Well established insurer seeks an experienced Underwriter to underwrite environmental risks covering facilities such as Manufacturing Plants, Warehouse and Distribution Sites, Research Facilities, Municipalities, Wastewater Treatment Systems, Farms and Agribusiness, Recycling Centers, Mainstreet Business, Treatment Storage Facilities; Entertainment Parks, Stadiums and Theaters; Large Scale Habitational Real Estate - Apartments, Hotels and Condominiums; Oil & Gas Transmission, Processing & Storage; etc. The Job: *** Identify and evaluate exposures and accept, decline, or modify risks within assigned underwriting authority levels. *** Implement underwriting decisions in compliance with state laws. *** Conduct market research and analyze competitor performance. *** Monitor and evaluate performance of assigned producers. Recommend and implement action plans for improvement. *** Analyze quality and quantity of risks written.
