Quality Engineer - Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturer - (Phenix City, AL)

Leading producer of wind turbine blades seeking individual with lean manufacturing background and expertise to apply quality manufacturing standards to large scale operations involved in layered epoxy and polyester composites. Responsibilities: *** Analyze data and put together reports to verify acceptable quality systems performance and adherence to company, customer and regulatory qualifications. *** Utilize quality improvement tools and techniques including 6 Sigma, SPC, FMEA, PFMEA. *** Set strategies revolved around internal, customer, and 3rd party system audits. *** Drive corrective and preventive action processes aimed at identifying issues, performing root cause analysis and similar validation tests ensuring quality systems are effective. Qualifications: *** B.S. or equivalent in an Engineering discipline. *** 5+ years in a similar role. *** 6 Sigma or other relevant background.
