We are FOX seventeen News, a Tribune station in West Michigan, and we looking for our next Video Editor. This position mandates a basic understanding of newsgathering process. The perfect candidate will have background shooting, editing, and producing content for multiple platforms. The next Video Editor must have a strong desire to break news for broadcast, digital and social media. Functions of this job will include photojournalist and video editor. Main responsibilities: The Video Editor edits and produces daily news stories for live broadcast, station website(s) and all current and future media platforms. 80% Shoots and edits video for multiple platforms 20% Actively engaged on all social media platforms Qualifications: Outstanding verbal and written correspondence abilities.
