Director of Communications and Advocacy - (Sacramento, CA)

Summary Job overview: Working under the CEO, the Director of Communications and Advocacy coordinates efforts that serve to further Mutual Housing s advocacy, policy, communications and marketing priorities. The Director will serve as the primary contact for all media relationships and will ensure that consistent branding exists among all programs, business lines, communications and presentations throughout the organization. Division of Tasks: The position is approx 20% media communications; 30% advocacy; 40% organizational branding/marketing/promotions, and 10% organizational strategy and management. The Director serves on the Mutual Housing Executive Leadership Team. Limit on Advocacy Work: Mutual Housing is a 501©3 tax exempt corporation.
