Computer Operator - (Millington, TN)

Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful applicant will perform as a Computer Operator II. This positions supports the Navy Personnel Command in Millington Tennessee. Computer Operatorsmaintain over 5 hundred Electronic Military Personnel Record Systems (EMPRS) Core production, development and test workstations running a mix of Windows seven and Windows ten including software/hardware and network support. They assist network and windows system administrators with configuration/troubleshooting of their respective systems/servers. They also maintain multiple scanners of various makes and models. Outside of Core stations, they must execute a 5 minute response to Navy Selection Board operations for any hardware, software or network problems. Assignments include over 2 hundred Windows (currently upgrading to WIN 10) machines along with 4 "tank rooms" where selection board voting is executed and tallied. Each Tank also consists of 8 mounted projectors and screens.
