Software Engineer Intern - (Vista, CA)

Description: The Security & Transportation Group is looking for a hands-on undergraduate summer intern to assist in our software verification and validation efforts. Position responsibilities: Under guidance, work with software developers on improving algorithms. Test and verify correctness and efficiency of improvements. Execute and maintain software utility tools (basic knowledge of Perl or PowerShell is a plus). Generate or update documentation reflecting changes in software. The position will require the applicant's willingness to learn new software tools quickly. The perfect applicant will be energetic, highly motivated, detailed-oriented, and have passions and desires to contribute to the development of high quality software products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to become very familiar with the lifecycle of software product development. Requirements: EDUCATION: Must be enrolled in a Software development degree program at an accredited college or university.
