Financial services client is looking for a Data Engineer to support initiatives within a growing AI division. Perfect candidate will possess: · Data modeling background · Performs data mapping from multiple sources · Has background in gathering Technical and Business Metadata from sources. · Coordinating with business to understand the metadata and gather info · Knows ETL and data ingestion tools (kafka, goldengate, abinito) · Has hands on background with Hadoop and Big Data . Background in using Hive, Hue and other tools for exploring Hadoop data. · Has extensive SQL query background and can understand complex sql code. · Has exposure to SAS Nice to have · Has awareness off machine learning concepts This role has a strong potential for contract to hire
