Job DescriptionAEM is a 40yr old family-owned and operated, fast-paced and service-oriented company, seeking a manual machinist with a min of five years background to start immediately at our Springfield, Massachusetts facility.JOB DETAILS:Candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Candidate must demonstrate expertise to reliably measure to within 0.0005 ins using analog micrometers. Position involves operating shop equipment such as a lathes, milling machines, vertical boring mills, horizontal boring mills, saws, and surface grinders. Candidates who have background cutting ACME is a plus. Candidates must have a sound work ethic and an eagerness to learn.This is a full time PLUS position: 40 hours a week Monday through Friday PLUS overtime as needed.
