Outdoor Maintenance/ Landscaping Technician - (Sandusky, OH)

JOB DESCRIPTION The Grounds Maintenance associate is responsible for maintaining the grounds outside the building to include but not limited to: trimming of grass, trees, shrubs, removal, and planting of all types of plants, as well as snow removal and hazards/obstructions removed. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS: High-school degree or GED required. LICENSE/PERMITS REQUIRED: Trade School and/or related position certificates in landscape field helpful. Must have valid driver's license in order to drive company truck. CRITICAL SKILLS: Superior verbal and writing skills. Expertise to work with a variety of plants and landscaping materials. KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE: Must be able to operate but not limited to lawn care equipment, snow removal equipment, tractors, forklifts, and power tools. PREVIOUS BACKGROUND REQUIRED: 1 Year of landscape background helpful. Previous hospitality or related skills helpful.
