The River Edge Recovery Center is a residential alternative to or diversion from inpatient hospitalization, offering psychiatric stabilization and detoxification services. The program provides medically monitored residential services for the purpose of providing psychiatric stabilization and substance detoxification services on a short term basis. Position details: Under direct supervision, performs assigned direct care activities, basic nursing procedures and training for patient's/consumers in a residential/ 24 hour supervised community-based program. Implements assigned parts of the individualized treatment plans. Assists patients/consumers in learning daily living skills, participates in recreational and social activities and accompanies patients/consumers to appointments and activities. Observes and documents patient/consumer behavior. Provides transportation to clients and their children as assigned by supervisor. Min Requirements:
