Cloud Systems Engineer - (Pierre, SD)

Description The Landsat and Sentinel Archive and Access (LSAA) Project at the EROS Center is responsible for providing technical support for long term data and archive management of Landsat and Sentinel-2 satellite data in the USGS/EROS archives to include operations, engineering and development of systems to access, manage, preserve and distribute archived data. This position will be responsible for performing Systems Engineering on this Project to develop, implement, and to maintain systems which will perform ingest, archive and allow distribution of Landsat satellite data.Core ResponsibilitiesCommunicate work status to LSAA Task Lead other LSAA Project teammates, as appropriate.Conduct activities including preparing Cloud operations concepts, developing and implementing Cloud system qualifications, defining and documenting Cloud system interface definitions, conducting Cloud architecture and trade study analysis
