Our client, a leading fortune company is looking for Buyer .This is for an initial duration of five months located in Billerica, MA. Responsibilities: Process purchase orders for spare parts, assemblies and components Analyze and communicate relevant data such as vendor quotes, parts lists, reports, etc. Obtain, evaluate and negotiate bids from suppliers for price, delivery, quality, and terms and conditions Manage open order base to optimize max supplier performance Evaluate supplier performance with various rating methods Conduct supplier meetings and business reviews Assist with cost reduction activities Interact effectively with internal and external customers Produce reports, statistics, and strategies Requirements: Bachelor's degree can be substituted by min of four years direct work background Min of 5 yrs of purchasing background; 8 yrs preferred Background in semiconductor manufacturing desired; electronics industry background at a min Background in standard purchasing practices related to
