Job DescriptionPosition description:Gusto Global LLC, a drug discovery and development company with a focus on next generation microbiome-inspired immune-modulation therapies, seeks to hire a highly-motivated bioinformatics programmer to aid in the development of a software platform for the annotation, analysis, and modeling of human gut microbiomes and custom microbiome formulations. The successful applicant will be a skilled programmer, capable of developing backend pipelines, building data indexing systems, and developing simple front-end viewers for a rich array of biological datatypes. The applicant will be operating within a small, versatile, innovative, and rapidly-growing start-up environment, interacting closely with a small team of talented and world-leading scientists (Jack Gilbert, Christopher Henry, Daniel van der Lelie and Safiyh Taghavi) who co-founded the company.
