Experienced Quality Assurance Inspector / CMM Operator - SWING shift - (Olympia, WA)

Job DescriptionSummary of Duties and Responsibilities: The duties of the Quality Inspector/CMM Operator include but are not limited to:· Performs inspection for quality, appearance and performance of complicated equipment, instruments or products, or of diversified parts and assemblies under management guidelines.· Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and/or ROMER Arm.· Develop and report AS9102 1st article inspections.· Read and interpret engineering drawings, specification, and manufacturing specifications.· Interpret, review and accept/reject internally developed drawings.· Interpret ANSI Y14.5 standard (geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances) effectively.· Determine the most efficient usage of CMM versus other methods of inspection.· Cross-train QA Inspectors on the use and programming of CMM’s.· Inspect components and assemblies using non-CMM methods.· Provide guidance to machinists and assemblers to interpret specifications.· Coordinate Source Inspections with customer and
