Staff Accountant - (Franklin, TN)

Staff Accountant Do you want to work in a quick paced, growing environment? Our fast growing, Fortune 500 client in the Cool Springs area is currently seeking an individual to fill a Staff Accountant position. This position will be contract-to-hire and will involve working closely with the Director of Accounting as well as various departments within the organization. Pay is $20-$21/hour based on background. Responsibilities: Responsible for all accounting reconciliations and activities. Ensure that all activity is recorded in accordance to GAAP guidelines. Ensure all purchase and inventory activity throughout organization is recorded in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for month-end closing. Education and Background Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 2-4yrs accounting background Experience in auditing, accounting practices and principles, financial statement Be able to work autonomously and on a team In-depth current understanding of Excel and SAP
