Teacher’s Assistant Openings We are currently looking for teacher assistants for a Summit County Nonprofit organization. This is teaching pre-k children. Teacher’s Assistant Responsibilities & Skills required: These openings require a min of an associate’s degree (preferably in early childhood education.) Or someone that is pursing their degree in education. Must pass a background investigation, FBI check, drug test, and have a valid driver’s license as well. Completion of secondary education or equivalent with 6 (6) months background in age-appropriate teaching field; must have or be working towards an age-appropriate center-based Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential; valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and transportation (travel required for home visits, training and getting to/from assigned worksite located across the Summit County area); computer literacy; criminal background checks conducted
