Java Architect - (Raleigh, NC)

Responsibilities: - Extensive background in creating RESTful web services - Proven background designing and implementing high performing, scalable, and secure multi-tier web applications. - B. S. or M. S. in Computer Science or related position - 8+ years Java development background in a highly transparent Agile organization, with iterations, continuous integration and a drive for quality - Troubleshoot application performance problems and implement solutions - Ideal candidate will have background with multiple server NoSQL data stores (Hadoop, Cloudera, HBase), caching technologies like Redis and background with indexing technologies like Elasticseach or Solr. - Background with modeling relational databases and writing complex SQL queries - Background using a continuous integration stacks and java dependency management and build tools such as Artifactory, Ivy, Maven, Ant, JIRA, SVN/GIT, Bamboo, Crucible/Stash, etc - Understanding of application monitoring and security best practices
