School Bus Driver in Training toDriver Description: A Driver in Training will be trained by our staff to obtain acommercial driver s license (valid drivers license), where available, obtain related School BusDriver endorsement(s), and to learn our Company policies and procedures. Uponsuccessful completion of the training program and successful completion of allnecessary qualifications for the position, the Driver in Training will be placedin a School Bus Driver role. ResponsibilitiesInclude: Provides safe and reliabletransportation service by operating various types of school buses intransporting pupils to and from school, special events, etc. Reports any maintenance problems toMaintenance in accordance with Company procedure and does not operate an unsafevehicle. Reports to duty on time and maintainsroute on time but in a safe manner. Physically assists passengers inevacuation of the vehicle in case of emergency. Immediately reports any accident orincident per Company policy.
