Fleet Operations Manager - (Wilmington, OH)

Building Systems Transport is Hiring for the Fleet Operations Manager Position! Essential Duties of the Fleet Operations Manager: - Previous experience background in the motor carrier industry preferred, including knowledge of operations, clerical procedures, and DOT regulations. - Must possess effective communication and leadership skills with the expertise to foster open, honest two-way communication both internally and externally. - Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. - Negotiate and authorize contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment. - Must be organized and able to work with PC. - Proven expertise to manage relationships (internal and external) at all levels of the business (both directly and virtually). - Direct activities of staff and vendors performing repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
