Laundry Operator (FT) Roanoke, VA, US, 24014 Position details Shift is 3:30 pm to 12:00 am with weekends and overtime as needed due to production requirements. Applicant must have transportation available when working any of these shifts. City buses are not available during all of these hours. The Laundry Operator will process, inspect and package textile products for Carilion Laundry Services according to established production standards. The Laundry Operator is also expected to support Carilion`s hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job requirements. Duties include, but are not limited to: Accurately completes production reporting paper work at end of shift. May use calculator for basic arithmetic. Maintain tidy work area and appropriately routes missorted textile products to the proper area for further processing. Monitors the operation of assigned laundry production equipment and reports any malfunction or unusual noises immediately to maintenance or their supervisor.
