Building Systems Transport is Hiring for the Fleet Operations Manager Position! Essential Duties of the Fleet Operations Manager: - Direct activities of staff and vendors performing repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, and facilities. - Proven expertise to manage relationships (internal and external) at all levels of the business (both directly and virtually). - Prior experience background in the motor carrier industry preferred, including knowledge of operations, clerical procedures, and DOT regulations. - Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints. - Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. - Direct and perform activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles. - Must be prepared to assume shift operations with little or some advance notice.
