Job details POSITION TITLE: Welder 1, 2, 3 DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing REPORTS TO: Business Unit Supervisor STATUS: Hourly / nonexempt Welder one JOB SUMMARY: Performs set-up and welding on a variety of weldments and structures following written -job instructions- or standardized methods and procedures utilizing fixtures and jigs. Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines to produce high-quality weldments and blades for the company-s lines of commercial snow and ice control products. Actively participates in a team environment. Perform designated maintenance functions, assumes ownership for quality of weldments, participates in training, performs daily 6S activities, and maintains safety standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintains good housekeeping and 6S. - Adheres to all health and safety rules. - Produce quality welded components to daily production qualifications. - Scrap reduction and quality control. - Expertise to work within a group to achieve team goals.
