Legal Intern-Student Hourly - (Lawrence, KS)

Position overview * Provides legal assistance?consults with and advises current KU students. * Prepares and reviews legal documents. * Conducts legal research, negotiation, and correspondence necessary to provide legal assistance. * Assists with the educational function of the office such as preparing brochures, conducting workshops, tabling, and outreach. * Performs other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Supervising Attorney. Minimum experience * 2nd or 3rd year law student at KU. * Strong communication abilities as evidenced by application materials. Preferred Requirements * Proficient technical skills. * Background working with diverse populations.SDL2017
