Utility Mechanic ** Requires Travel to Antarctica *** - (Denver, CO)

PAE is seeking Utility Mechanic to support scientific research in Antarctica! Maintenance and construction skillsets needed. Contracts range from five to twelve months.-- Qualifications: Min four years' background required in a wide variety of facility maintenance to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc. The expertise to read design drawings, specifications, and diagrams is required.-- U.S./State Vehicle Operators License required. Willingness and expertise to deploy to Antarctica for extended periods.-- US citizenship or Permanent US Resident status. High-school certificate or equivalent. Must successfully complete the physical and dental examinations as required by the NSF for deploying to Antarctica-- Must be willing and able to perform physical activities including heavy lifting, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Preferred: HVAC-R license is preferred. Background in an industrial or commercial environment is preferred.
