Lehigh Cement Company has been in Mason City for over 100 yrs and will continue business for many more years. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: As a Buyer for Lehigh Hanson you will work with a team at a dynamic cement plant to ensure parts, deliveries, and supplies are coordinated and arrive on time. You will work with the departments to maximize savings while still maintaining required levels of inventory. Assists with resolving invoice discrepancies with vendors. Stock items in stores and must be able to lift 50 pounds. Reviews opportunities for new supply sources and suitability of materials. Assists with storeroom management. Participates in physical inventory of spare parts to include cycle counting, posting and reconciliation. Other job-related duties and administrative functions may be included.
