Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe primary purpose of our Precision Machine Assembler is to build assembly machines from design drawings, integrating chassis, tooling and other manufactured and purchased parts into a precision assembly machine. Essential Job Functions Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) Identify efficient setup, production methods, and sequence of operations for machine assembly Verify conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints Select the appropriate tools, jigs and fixtures to be used in machine assembly Lay out hole locations and drill and tap holes on parts for assembly as required Fit and assemble machine components referencing detailed drawings and schematics Verify alignment and tolerances of moving parts Assist with machine start-up and testing; assemble
