Purchasing Coordinator - (York, ME)

Full time Year-Round The objective of the Purchasing Coordinator role is to provide assistance and support to the Purchasing Department. Specific Assignments include: Expedite Purchase Orders, track and confirm shipments, report material deficits and communicate any conflicts with scheduled production for further action. Contacts vendors to obtain or track samples and/or request documentation. Follows-up on requests. Assists management with creating and maintaining reports as well as analyzing data for accuracy. Create, maintain, and monitor progress of RMDS files as each is completed by teammates. Facilitate inventory transitions; brand, packer, unit of measure, etc. Update and maintain Approved Vendor database. Serve as primary resource for raw material details details as required. Initiate DMF form and perform investigation/follow up as required. Prepare monthly inventory forecast reports and supplies forecast to vendors and communicate issues to all parties in a timely manner.
