Physical Therapist Asst. - Full Time Days - Twin Cities Hospital - (Templeton, CA)

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Following initial assessment by Physical Therapist, a Physical Therapy Assistant will continue treatment, re-assessment and appropriate progression of patients in the acute care setting. Recommend and coordinate with the Physical Therapist any changes in the treatment plan. Work as a team with all departments. In addition, the Physical Therapy Assistant shall meet personal accountabilities as defined in the Tenet Target 100 standards of Service, People, Quality, Growth and Cost. EDUCATION / TRAINING / BACKGROUND: Min: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant training program. Preferred: Education/background working with adult and geriatric disabled population. LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Min: Current California license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association. Requirements: EDUCATION / TRAINING / BACKGROUND: Min: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant training program.
