Youth Specialist - PT Job - (Springfield, MO)

Purpose of Position ? The purpose of this position is to aid in providing community supervision of youth placed at the Greene County Youth Academy and assist in the program delivery under the direction of the GCYA Program Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. ? Supervises youth participating in the Greene County Youth Academy. Supervise youth when in the community to include field trips and community service projects. ? Prepares court reports for hearings and attends court hearings for youth involved in the Greene County Youth Academy as needed. ? Maintains statistical details for utilization of the Greene County Youth Academy. Assists with proper retrieval and record of evaluation results. ? Develops and maintains a proficient knowledge in the use and application of urinalysis testing and electronic monitoring equipment.
