City Rochester State Minnesota Telecommute Yes Department Research Job overview The grant writer provides editorial assistance to faculty in the development of research and training grants through consultation (before proposal is begun or as work is in progress) and serves as a member of grant review teams. The grant writer edits and proofreads text of grants and other material. The grant writer will research a variety of topics and details for faculty and create/write sections (as templates or for single use) and on-line resources that support the proposal and submission. The grant writer will consult with faculty to provide technical advice in the area of proposal presentation and dissemination of info that can be used in the grant proposal revision process.
