Actor, Guest Experience - (Monterey, CA)

Job overview The Actor, Guest Background will work with both Guest Background Public Programs and the Dive Operations Department to perform in 3 different theatrical programs throughout the Aquarium. The foremost responsibility is an outdoor presentation about the history of the Monterey Bay. Actors will operate historic non-motorized watercrafts including a tule boat and a traditional Chinese sampan, and will perform both on the water as well as on land interpreting the historic fishing practices of people who called the Monterey Bay home. In addition to this show, actors will also be required to perform both historic and improvisational theatrical programming within 2 of our exhibits at various times throughout the day. Core Responsibilities Deliver scripted performances across multiple genres including improv and historic interpretation Work with Guest Background Programs staff for the maintenance of costumes and props Work in costumes to deliver programs
