Job DescriptionEarly Childhood Substitute Assistant Teacher – UO Vivian Olum Child Dev. Ctr. provides high-quality child care for staff and faculty children serving children ages eight weeks through eleven years. This is an on-call position. Eligible for sick & vacation leave, and other benefits. $12.63/hour. Requires one year full-time background in a certified child-center; or CDA; or twenty semester hours of college level course work in E.C.E., Child Development, or Special Education; or Step eight in the Oregon Step Registry. Requires current certification in Infant/Child CPR and 1st Aid, current Oregon Food Handler's card, approved criminal history registry through the Oregon Child Care Division, and must be at least 18 yrs of age.
