Job DescriptionHISTORY: the Calmecac (kal’mekak] was a school for the children of Aztec nobility where they would receive rigorous training and instruction in education, music, rituals, and orders of the Jaguar Warrior. At Guadalupe Centers, Calmecac started as an afterschool and summer enrichment program in 2003. It quickly evolved and since 2004 the main focus has been academic retention with a variety of enrichment projects provided. Calmecac is now a well-rounded program servicing grades K to 8. Students attend academic classes in the morning with certified teachers. In the afternoon, trained youth workers plan engaging and enjoyable activities including: science and math, healthy nutrition, life skills, arts & crafts, culture and physical education. Essential duties and responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process the required paperwork in a timely and accurately manner. Demonstrates strong customer service in order to serve visitors in a manner that is respectful and friendly.
