Help Desk Lead - (Arlington, VA)

ECS is seeking a Help Desk Lead to work in our Arlington, VA office. Job overview: The applicant will lead a small team and provide IT support services for a project specific internal help desk support that includes network, hardware, software and device support. Provides on-site support for computer automation equipment (laptops, desktops, LAN, printers, plotters, iPhones, tablets, etc). Perform research and evaluation of software tools, hardware and services, and emerging technologies. Support the acquisition of Infrastructure Management IT equipment and services. Escalate tickets to external help desk where appropriate. Set up facilities as needed (e.g. rearrange conference rooms, set up video-teleconfernce equipment). Prioritizes team tasks. Drafts SOPs and ensures compliance and knowledge sharing.Critical skills: Active Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or info science or equivalent and five to eight years of relevant background. Background with Microsoft office suite.
