Maintenance Technician - (Akron, NY)

Acara Solutions has a direct hire opportunity for an Maintenance Technician for our customer, a global leader in metal working machinery manufacturing. In this critical role, you will plan lay out and perform all operations pertaining to the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of complicated electrical and mechanical/hydraulic equipment and circuits. Work will also consist of integrated circuitry and solid state logic assignments as well as the establishment of secondary distribution centers and installation of control equipment. Other specific duties will include: Tear down units, determine extent of trouble, replace or repair defective parts or wiring, reassemble and test. Select electrical/mechanical parts and materials for specific requirements and check reference as necessary to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
