PARTS/PURCHASING/WARRANTY MANAGER Competitive Salary and Benefits Package - (Altoona, PA)

POSITION TITLE: Parts, Purchasing and Warranty Manager REPORTS TO: Director of Fleet Management OVERVIEW OF ROLE: Responsible for purchasing and inventory control of vehicle maintenance parts as well as shop and transportations system supplies. Maintain a system of purchasing requisitions and purchase orders as required to properly track purchases. Oversee warranty recovery to include new equipment warranty and part warranty to maximize our return on investment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a system of purchase requisitions and purchase orders to control costs and expenditures. Manage a competitive bidding process for the acquisition of parts, supplies and services to ensure fiscal responsibility. Manage Warranty reimbursement program working with dealers, vendors and suppliers. Assist in the administration of the Tire program to include such items as inventory control, invoice reconciliation, etc.
