CNC Machinist - Lathes - (Danbury, CT)

The Barden Corporation, a division of Schaeffler Group USA, is seeking a CNC Machinist - Lathes Operator (second Shift) to support our Danbury, CT location. The position will involve Grinding Operations, perform machine set up and operate a min of 1 production process, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment. Hourly Compensation range $15.00 - $20.00/Plus second Shift Differential Key duties include but not limited to: * Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by machine * Analyze machine problems and take corrective action * Use precision measuring equipment to judge quality of work such as microscopes, micrometers, air gages, electronic gages, and dial indicators * Follow ISPI's and PSPI's and accurately record data as directed * Required to perform inspection of own work and maintain certification through company Certified Operator Program * Required to train other operators as needed * May be required to work in other departments or, occasionally
