Data Warehouse/Big Data Developer - (Chevy Chase, MD)

This is a temp - perm role that will transition after three moths. Client can transfer/Sponsor H-1's .. No straight Corp to Corp applicants will be considered. Duties: Develop, test, implement and maintain automated ETL operations for a variety of data sources and data marts. Create and execute test plans. Document assumptions, methodologies and validation techniques. Handle on call responsibilities and provide production support and maintenance. Participate in 24x7 on call support for key processes and data flows. Skills Required:--- At least three years of background as a Big Data Developer--- Background with manipulating and transforming data--- Some background on Spark core and Spark SQL--- At least two years of background on Hadoop Eco System (MapReduce, Oozie, Hive and Pig)--- At least 2 yrs of background on core Java or Scala--- Exposure with noSQL databases, such as HBase or Cassandra or MongoDB - provided by Dice Spark, ETL, Hadoop
