Facilities Maintenance Coordinator - (Auburn, AL)

Job JOB OVERVIEW This position is responsible for supervising and overseeing the maintenance of the City of Auburn's facilities. MAJOR DUTIES ? Performs management duties. (35%) o Maintains inventory of parts and supplies. o Assists in the development of annual budgets and monitors budgetary expenditures. o Develops cost estimates for repair and maintenance projects. o Inspects in-house facility projects. o Coordinates and manages maintenance contracts, warranties, and bids. ? Supervises and performs maintenance duties. (35%) o Supervises the maintenance and cleaning of designated City of Auburn facilities (e.g. City Hall, Human Resources, CityCare Clinic, etc.). o Maintains City of Auburn facilities (e.g. cleans restrooms and removes trash and debris). o Troubleshoots and performs minor repair and maintenance duties (e.g. painting, plumbing, electrical and mechanical service). ? Exercises direct supervision over assigned personnel. (20%) o Interviews, selects and trains assigned personnel.
