COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR - NEWARK, NEW JERSEY - U.S. Senator Robert Menendez is seeking a hard-working, energetic and dedicated individual to join his Newark, New Jersey office. This is a fast-paced position that requires at least a college diploma, valid driver's license, and good written and interpersonal communication abilities.-- Assignments include community relations building through organizational outreach, with an emphasis on the religious and cultural institutions of various communities in New Jersey, including Jewish, Coptic, Greek, Armenian, and others; keeping a pulse on local, national, and international issues affecting these communities; staffing the Senator at public events while he is in the state, including nights and weekends when necessary; as well as constituent services and other tasks when needed.
