Maintain technical responsibility for planning and conducting technical processes or phases of projects and coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel, drafters, technical writers, and electronics technicians, as required. Analyze and recommend design approaches to new or improved products or processes. Consolidate the results of hardware design elements for assigned projects. Conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component, or process specifications and requirements. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
