Custom Product Drafter II - (Gilbert, AZ)

Description PURPOSE: To develop and generate CAD model design, geometry, and specifications for grille placement, customer approval, and other CAD needs for delivery partners and customers. Maintain and ensure design intent and best practices are being followed during model creation. Work interdependently to ensure that CAD models, changes to the models, and product documentation are accurately recorded in the database. Responds to customer/delivery partner requests/inquiries. Mentors and trains the Custom Product Drafter I on the standards, best practices, and processes required to generate and manage the design models and documentation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Applies CAD ability and knowledge in the creation and delivery of product drawings for use by manufacturing, vendors, delivery partners and end use customers. Works closely with Customer Service Representatives, RTQ&E, Manufacturing, Materials Management, Suppliers and customers to define requirements and provide timely and accurate solutions.
