Training Specialist:Marshalls Distribution Center - (Bridgewater, VA)

Position overview Conducts training and development programs, including leadership and management skill development, using adult learning theory and accelerated learning techniques. Follows up on programs and coaches/counsels participants and their management to assist with skill transfer to job. Participates in needs assessment, design, development and execution of training/development solutions. L/D Specialist will collaborate together with L/D Coordinator to develop, drive or co:lead building foundational programs such as leader and GW onboarding, coach trainer, clerical, problem solver trainer, ES certification, 5S programs and other programs. Major Areas of Responsibility :Supports delivery of core skill training to DC Management, with a focus on operational effectiveness, engineered standards and management. Delivers targeted training to DC Management as identified by the L and D mgr. in conjunction with the business leaders.
