Senior Network Engineer - (Gainesville, VA)

Position summary Vector Security is currently seeking a Sr. Network Engineer. This role is responsible for the design and development of customer network communications. They analyze equipment specifications and process qualifications to conceive a practical design and determines feasibility from technical and economic perspectives. This role coordinates and consults with customer representatives to create designs and resolve/modify design problems and develops and maintains technical procedures, documentation and manuals. They compile and analyze operational data and directs tests to establish standard for new designs or modifications to existing equipment, systems, or processes. Success for the Sr. Network Engineer is measured by ensuring network designs meet industry standard specifications for routing and security best practices. In addition, authoring support documentation such as installation guides, troubleshooting guides, etc. that are accurate and concise are critical to the Sr.
