Description: County Application and resume are required. Grant Funded Position Part-time approx 25 hours per week Entry Salary: 28.15 per hour up to 36,595/year The Assistant County Attorney will provide direct contact between survivors and the County Attorney when civil protection orders are violated; follow up on COC fees resulting from violating civil protection orders; coordinate with other County Attorneys on criminal DV cases; and coordinate with ILA and CSADV on cases. Responsible and accountable for the efficient and effective prosecution of criminal violators of State laws in Woodbury County, Iowa; including case preparation and presentation, preliminary hearings, court and Grand Jury appearances, and related reports, briefs, or other legal preparation; in accordance with proper court and legal procedures; under the direct authority of the County Attorney.
