Job Description Position: Purchasing and Contracts Manager Reports to: President/CEO Positions Supervised: Purchasing Department Job Status: Full-time Department: C1 Purchasing Position classification: Regular FLSA Status: Exempt Travel Required: 10:15 POSITION DESCRIPTION The Purchasing and Contracts Manager is responsible for negotiating and evaluating compliance with requirements and regulations in contract documents, purchasing and proposal documents and ensuring timely execution of such documents and orders of materials. This position also will manage the purchasing group and initiate proper training, development and resource requirements. Experienced Purchasing and Contracts Manager will oversee all purchasing and contracting activities with our suppliers and oversight of terms and conditions from our customers. The successful applicant will be responsible for timely purchasing management to meet the needs of the business, control and reporting of the organization.
